Are you driving a top 20 best-selling car?

As the weather warmed last month, so did auto sales, and along the way came some big changes when it comes to most popular vehicles.

Normally, Chevrolet Silverado is right behind Ford F-Series as the nation's best-selling vehicle. They've been No. 1 and 2 for years. But in March, Chrysler Group's Ram 1500 snuck up from behind the took the No. 2 spot, according to Autodata, which tracks sales data. The truck has received wide attention and strong reviews -- and now has the sales numbers to match.

Likewise, Nissan's Altima showed strength last month, coming in fifth place ahead of rivals Honda Accord and Ford Fusion, respectively. Altima's success mirrored Nissan's strong showing all around in what was a record month for the brand. Nissan Sentra was in 19th place in the sale chart. The new Rogue SUV was 17th.

While Hyundai sales were down a hair last month, the brand still managed to put two vehicles in the top 20. The compact Elantra sedan was 14th and the Sonata midsize sedan snuck in at 20th.
